iPhone 12 Pro with 120 Hz display, larger battery and more

The famous YouTuber EverythingApple Pro reveals new and interesting details about the iPhone 12 Pro.

The YouTuber EverythingApplePro has shared new and interesting information on the next line of iPhone 12 .

In its latest video, YouTuber says that Apple is actually testing the iPhone 12 Pro variants with a 120Hz refresh rate display . His sources say that the company’s engineers were clear that they wanted to use a 120Hz panel and not a 90Hz panel. The engineering team encountered some problems, although they managed to bypass most of them.

Apple will offer dynamic transformation of the refresh rate so that the device automatically switches between 60Hz and 120Hz depending on the content you are viewing. This will be done in order to optimize the high refresh rate panel as it puts a strain on the battery life . In addition, it appears that the company has decided to further increase the battery capacity . A previous loss had indicated a 10% increase in capacity, but now there will be an even greater increase.

Internally, Apple will split the iPhone 12 Pro’s logic board in two and use a ribbon cable to connect them. It is not clear what advantages this will bring to the device. The Colossus of Cupertino is also changing the Face ID to make it work at wider angles. It will also get a dynamic zoning algorithm so that it is able to track some aspects of the face more efficiently. The Face ID hardware is also being renewed and moved to reduce the size of the notch.

The entire iPhone 12 series will come with more resistant glass and internal drop tests on Apple point to the new flat edge design that helps with durability. The leak also confirms that Apple will launch the iPhone 12 Pro in the new Blue Navy color and replace the Midnight Green color option.

According to rumors, Apple could use a 64 MP camera sensor on the iPhone 12 Pro series. However, this will not happen because the company’s engineers were not happy with its autofocus performance. Hence, the company will continue to use a 12 MP sensor, although this time it will be bigger . Apple is trying to improve autofocus performance and in low light conditions and to do this it will rely on the LiDAR sensor  . The company is also working on huge improvements in low light conditions by improving EIS for night mode, improving slow-motion video recording in low light conditions and more.

The LiDAR sensor will also be used to improve Portrait mode and the company seems to be working to use it also to offer video recording in Portrait mode, although this function may arrive after the launch of the new device through a software update. The audio zoom function will also be enhanced along with Smart HDR for better noise reduction. The telephoto lens will be enhanced to offer 3x optical zoom and will get Night mode support.

The iPhone 12 Pro series is certainly shaping up to be an important update over the existing iPhone 11 range. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below!
