iPhones are much desired devices, and also for this reason they are often subject to theft . In this regard, Apple developed the app Find My iPhone , and offers its users the ability to remotely wipe all data on a device in case of theft or loss. Nevertheless, they are interesting upcoming news on the subject.

Patently Apple has shared on the web an Apple patent that describes a security system that would allow the iPhone to get not only the fingerprints of a thief , using the Touch ID, but also facial imagerecording video or taking pictures with the internal camera of the devices.

Additional security measures could deter criminals, but, as with any other patent, we do not know if and when Apple decides to implement these innovations on its devices.
